ADDITIONAL AUDITION INFORMATION:

 

- You will need to stay the entire time (8:30 to approximately 4:30 pm)

- No need to prepare an audition piece

- Wear comfortable clothes

- No previous acting experience necessary

 

 

Dress comfortably.  The audition takes all day. The morning session primarily involves theater games and fun improvs to get comfortable with the improvisational style. There will then be an hour for lunch (we will order pizza to the school, and auditionees are welcome to bring their own lunch or $5 for pizza, drinks, and other snacks). The afternoon session involves improv work dealing with more serious issues.

 

Auditions are held at East Middle School in Westminster, MD.

Directions:

From Manchester/Hampstead: Take 27S.  Just past Wheeler Car Dealership you will make a left onto Tighe Rd. which turns into Longwell. The school is up the hill.

 

From Eldersburg/Sykesville: Take 32 or 97 to Main St in Westminster.  Make a left and follow to the light at Longwell (the next light after Center St light).  Make a right and follow to school.

 

From New Windsor/Union Bridge: Take 31 to Main St in Westminster.  Follow Main St and cross the Railroad tracks.  Make a left at Longwell, which is the light past the library.

 

From Taneytown: Take 140 E and make a Right onto Center St.  At the stop sign on Willis St make a right.  At the next stop sign make a Right onto Longwell Ave. The school is on the Right.

 

From Finksburg: Take 140 W and make a left onto Center St. At the next stop sign make a Right onto Willis St.  At the next stop sign make a Right onto Longwell Ave. The school is on the Right.
